LIFERAFT
The aim of Liferafts is man’s life safety in the sea. It is one of the most necessary safety supplies in a vessel.
The raft’s use is required when the ship is found in emergency and evacuation is compulsory.
They can be grouped in two types:
• S O L A S (LSA CODE) category for international or domestic voyages
• ISO 9650-1 category for yachts
Liferafts are manufactured to float and be stable under any weather conditions.
Liferaft Capacity: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 20, 25, 50 persons and more.
Our Company is approved by the Greek ministry of shipping for the annual inspection of liferafts of any maker for up to 50 persons.

FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
• FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
Fire Extinguishers constitute first aid appliances and are designed in order to release extinguishing material which prevents spreading of fire. The fire extinguisher is a most important tool for firefighting especially during the first stages of fire. There are four basic types of fire : solid, gas fuel, liquid fuel and flammable metals. A fire extinguisher’s performance in fire extinguishing is mentioned on the extinguisher’s label. Maintenance of all extinguisher types should be carried out only by authorized companies.
• PERMANENT SYSTEM :
– Low pressure fixed fire fighting system (FM 200, DRY POWDER, FOAM).
– High pressure fixed fire fighting system (CO2).

• FIRE MAN SUITS: The fire fighter’s overalls is a mean of individual protection against fire. A fire Man’s Suit consists of high thermal endurance fire proof material and should be light and comfortable. In addition, thermal protection should be provided to the fire fighter when fighting fire.
• EMERGENCY ESCAPE BREATHING DEVICE (EEBD): It is an independent device. EEBD can be used by a man in order to escape from a place in which there is not enough oxygen and he can’t breathe.
• BREATHING APPARATUS: It is an autonomous device serving as one of the most important tools of a firefighter. It consists of the air back, the suspension belts, the pressurized air cylinder, the manometer with the high pressure pipe, the sonar warning (whistle), the air lung together the mind pressure pipe and the full face mask, which isolates completely the user’s breathing system. Its use is for fire extinguishing.
